Privacy policy

What we collect

• Account: name, email, and a hashed password (we cannot read your password).
• Orders: plan bought, amount, payment status, and the eSIM details needed to deliver it (such as its ICCID and activation code).
• Reviews: your rating, comment and country. The country is detected from your IP address; we do not store the IP address itself.
• Referral and rewards: referral links, points and wallet activity.
• Cookies: an essential session cookie to keep you logged in, and a short-lived referral cookie. We also remember your chosen currency in your browser.

We do not collect or store card numbers - payments are handled by our payment providers.

Why we use it

• To create your account, process payment and deliver your eSIM.
• To send order, delivery and account emails (e.g. verification code).
• To prevent fraud and abuse, and to provide support.
• To meet legal and accounting obligations.

Who we share it with

Only service providers that help us run the shop:

• Payment processors: Stripe, PayPal, Square.
• Our eSIM supplier (eSIM Access), to issue your eSIM.
• Our email provider, and an IP-to-country lookup service for reviews.
• Authorities, when the law requires it.

We do not sell your personal data.

How long we keep it

Account and order data is kept while your account is active and as long as needed for accounting, tax and dispute purposes. You can ask us to delete your account.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, export or delete your data, or object to certain uses, by emailing support@esimsafar.com. Some data (e.g. invoices) must be kept by law.

Security

Passwords are hashed, the site is served over HTTPS, and access to data is restricted. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.
